Now, today was pencilled as a much needed work day but my immune system decided to embarrass itself and I'm full of a cold. Craving lemsips, which are Class A substances for pregnants. Instead, sitting in a darkened room with a toilet roll. Suspect cold may have come from the crowd at Creative Calderdale's brilliant event on Tuesday evening. So well worth it, as got to see Nik Powell speak on lessons learned during his career (partnered with Branson to start Virgin Records, then produced oscar winning films... and married Sandie Shaw...) Also heard pitches from the Halifax Festival, (already looks great for this July) and Phoenix FM - our local radion station. Once again, blown away by the quality of arts and creative business activity here in my new home. (Anyone want to start a country music station on DAB... ? )
It's now just over a year since we migrated from London to Yorkshire, and William will be one in 10 days. We've almost completed on a house, and baby #2 seems to be doing well. The itch is now all about the business... growing it as much as I can before another little one arrives and the three hourly feed-sleep-change-feed routines start again. Come on cold, bugger off so I can go out and see some daffodils before taking a stab at a second press release... not much time left!
